Now, the company that bears his name honors D. W. Brunton's ingenuity with the Brunton Gentleman's Pocket Compass.
Modeled after the original D. W. Brunton design, this collectible compass features a solid milled aluminum body to pay tribute to both its durability and beauty.
The swivel lid features a needle lift mechanism, locking the needle in place when the compass is closed.
The lid swivels open to reveal a mirror, and the compass with an induction damped compass needle, and the classic cardinal direction points.
Made from aluminum and detailed with brass accents and engravings, this unique presentation pocket compass is not only a work of art, but also suited for personalization on the front or back.
Each side features a 1 inch (2.5 cm) diameter circular area where you can custom engrave a name, initials, a monogram, or a short message.
The Brunton Gentleman's Pocket Compass measures 2 3/32 inches (5.3 cm) in diameter, 5/8 inch (1.6 cm) thick, and weighs 2.2 ounces (62.4 grams).
The compass face is 1.28 inches (3.25 cm) in diameter. This compass comes with Brunton's lifetime warranty.
